One of the most remarkable stamps in this series is dedicated to the pioneering Argentine photographer Horacio Coppola (1906–2012). The stamp features Coppola's famous 1936 photograph "Corrientes esquina Uruguay" (Corrientes Street corner Uruguay). The work is regarded as a powerful image that documents one of the symbolic views of Buenos Aires' modernization process. Especially during the 1930s, Coppola photographed Argentina's capital with a modernist vision, recording the city's changing face in history. Lala Deen Dayal was a decisive figure in the development of photography in 19th-century India. The series "Fotokunst Österreich / Austrian Art of Photography", issued by the Austrian postal administration, is a special stamp collection aimed at promoting the country's contemporary photographic art on an international scale. One of the standout stamps in this series is dedicated to media and performance artist Valie Export (born Waltraud Lehner, 1940). The stamp features a reproduction of the Smart Export cigarette pack, one of the artist's photographic works. This object holds symbolic significance in Valie Export's artistic career; in fact, she adopted her artistic pseudonym "EXPORT" inspired by this brand. The stamp not only presents the artwork itself but also highlights the artist's conceptual approach and her method of transforming everyday objects into art. Valie Export is recognized as a pioneering figure in performance and media art. Her work addresses themes such as gender, body politics, and consumer culture. The Smart Export reproduction on the stamp serves as an important symbol of her approach to everyday objects and the process of shaping her artistic identity.
