Richard was the inventor and manufacturer of the Verascope and Glyphoscope stereographic cameras, and also the Taxiphote stereographic viewer.In addition, this letter is S.S. belonging to Cunard line company. William Partridge West Virginia'da doğmuş (1858-1939) genç yaşlarında iken fotoğraf ile ilgilenmeye başlamış ve 1878 yılında ilk stüdyosunu Boston'da açmıştır. Burada 1886 yılından 1914 yılına kadar fotoğrafçılık yapmış ardından emlak sektörüne girmiştir. 1939 yılında Wellesley'de vefat etmiştir.

In addition , the factory produced a wide variety of engineering instruments, thermometers, barometers, electrical apparatus, surveying equipment, telescopes, magic lanterns, photographic lenses, and eyeglasses.

C.L.HOWE&SON firmasına ait antetli iş zarfı.Firma C.L.HOWE (1811-1895)tarafından kurulmuştur.Kendisi 1811 yılında Dummerston,Vermont'ta dünya'ya gelmiştir.1846 yılında fotoğraf ile ilgilenmeye başlamış ve akabinde bir fotoğraf stüdyosu satın alarak burada Dagerreyotip üretmiştir.Bununla beraber üçyüz dolara satın aldığı bir araba ile gezici fotoğrafçılık'ta yapmıştır.Çalışmaları genellikle kendi yaşadığı bölgede yoğunlaşmıştır.1856'da Brattleboro'ya geldi ve bir burada'da fotoğraf galerisi satın alarak çalışmalarına devam etmiştir. 1880 yılında oğlu John C. HOWE'da şirkete katılmıştır.C.L.HOWE 1895 yılında vefat etmiştir.

He became interested in photography in about 1846 and soon bought a photography studio where he began producing daguerreotypes. He then bought a four-wheeled car for three hundred dollars and added a traveling photographer to his job description. He did most of his work in his home region. He came to Brattleboro in 1856 and bought a photo gallery. He was quite successful as a photographer. In 1880 his son John C. HOWE became associated with the company and the studio became known as C. L. Howe & Son. He died in 1895.
