Eduardo Grüner to Curt Bentzin: Photographic Trade Envelope
Eduardo Grüner is a well-known company in Spain that sells photographic supplies. This envelope was used by Eduardo Grüner and sent to the camera manufacturer Curt Bentzin in Germany. The Curt Bentzin company was founded in 1889 by Curt Bentzin (1862-1932). The company is especially known for its Primar, Reflex-Primar, Primarflex, and Primarette cameras. Curt Bentzin and Carl Zeiss jointly established a company named "Aktiengesellschaft Camerawerk Palmos" and released a camera called Film-Palmos 6x9. However, due to financial reasons, this partnership ended in 1901 and the company was closed. Afterwards, Curt Bentzin resumed the management of his own company. After Curt Bentzin's death in 1932, the company continued to be managed by his children. In the following years, the company came under state control, and camera production ceased in 1953.
On the back of the envelope, there is a "Censura Militar" (military censorship) stamp and a "Geöffnet" (opened) label.
