 Merhaba. Ben A. Fevzi Oruç. Bu blog, yıllardır özenle biriktirdiğim görsel-belgesel materyallerin bir kısmını paylaşmak amacıyla kuruldu. Koleksiyonum, 19. ve 20. yüzyıla ait ticari zarflar, antetli mektuplar, fotoğraf stüdyosu baskıları, reklam etiketleri, katalog broşürleri ve propaganda kartları gibi görsel tarih belgelerini içeriyor. Özellikle posta yoluyla gönderilmiş, fotoğrafla ilgili belgeler bu blogun merkezinde yer alıyor — ve bunlar sadece görsel değil, aynı zamanda kültürel, teknolojik ve sosyolojik izler taşıyor.

Bu blogu oluşturma amacım, yalnızca bir koleksiyon vitrini kurmak değil; aynı zamanda bu materyallerin arkasındaki tarihsel ve kültürel dünyayı görünür kılmak. Her antetli kağıt, her eski stüdyo baskısı, dönemin estetik ve ticari kodlarını, iletişim biçimlerini ve hatta ideolojik eğilimlerini yansıtır. Günümüzde gündelik hayattan silinmiş birçok görsel öge, bu belgelerde yaşamaya devam ediyor. Bu platformda bu unsurları sistematik, belgelenmiş ve açık bir şekilde sunmayı; araştırmacılar, koleksiyonerler ve meraklılar için kalıcı bir kaynak oluşturmayı hedefliyorum.

Blogda her yayını hem Türkçe hem İngilizce olarak hazırlıyorum. Böylece içerikler hem yerel hem uluslararası okurlara ulaşabiliyor. Bu çalışma benim için bir hobiden fazlası — bir tür kişisel yolculuk. Her yeni belge, geçmişe açılan küçük bir pencere niteliği taşıyor. İlginiz ve zamanınız için teşekkür ederim. Hello. I'm A. Fevzi Oruç. This blog was created to share a portion of the visual-documentary materials I have been collecting meticulously for many years.My collection includes a wide range of historical visual documents from the 19th and 20th centuries: commercial envelopes, letterheads, studio portrait prints, advertising labels, catalog brochures, and propaganda postcards. At the heart of this blog are materials related to photography sent through the mail, objects that bear not only visual significance but also cultural, technological, and sociological traces of their time.

The purpose of establishing this blog is not only to build a digital showcase of a collection, but also to reveal the historical and cultural worlds behind these materials. Every letterhead, every old studio print reflects the aesthetic and commercial codes, communication styles, and even ideological tendencies of its time. Many visual elements that have disappeared from daily life today continue to live on in these documents. Through this platform, I aim to document these elements in a systematic and accessible way, and to create a resource that can be preserved and referenced into the future.

I also envision this platform as a source of inspiration and knowledge for anyone interested in visual cultural history, philately, the history of photography, the evolution of design, or collecting. With each post, I aim to do more than simply share an image; I try to place each item within a historical, cultural, and often personal context.All content on this blog is prepared in both Turkish and English, aiming to be accessible and shareable for both local and international readers.

This work is more than just a hobby for me, it is a personal journey to trace the marks of time and to bridge the past and the present through documents.
