1894 yılında Mexico City'nin en iyi caddelerinden olan Plateros'da kurulmuş fotoğraf malzemeleri ve ekipmanları satan American Photo Supply Co. şirketine ait iş zarfı.Şirket aslen Amerikan Eastman Kodak şirketine bağlı olarak çalışıyordu.Yirminci yüzyılın başlarında taşınabilir fotoğraf makinalarını piyasaya sürerek "Sende bir fotoğrafçı olabilirsin" sloganını kullanmıştır.Ayrıca Temmuz 1899 yılında aylık olarak "El Fotographer Mexicano" dergisini yayınlamıştır.Dergi aynı zamanda şirketin kendi sattığı ürünlerin reklamlarını'da yapmaktaydı. Amerikalı T. J. Crump ve Rus editör Victor H. Zapotosky tarafından yönetilmekteydi.

Beyond commercial trade, American Photo Supply Co. also contributed to photographic culture through publishing. In July 1899, they issued the first edition of the monthly magazine El Fotógrafo Mexicano, one of the earliest photographic publications in Latin America. The magazine was managed by American entrepreneur T. J. Crump and edited by Russian émigré Victor H. Zapotosky, offering technical content and news for professional and amateur photographers alike.
