Harringtons Ltd. was an importer and retailer of photographic goods in Australia from c.1878 to 1939. Their head office was at 386 George Street, Sydney. In 1916 they had branches in Melbourne, 266 Collins Street; Brisbane, 93-95 Queen Street and Adelaide, 43 Rundle Street. There were branches also in Auckland and Wellington, New Zealand. Zeiss Ikon: German Camera Legacy 1926–1972

Zeiss Ikon firmasına ait Belçikaya gönderilmiş zarf. Zeiss İkon firması 1926 yılında dört fotoğraf makinası üreticisi firmanın birleşmesi ile Dresden'de kurulmuşbir şirkettir.Bu firmalar sırası ile Contessa-Nettel ,Ernemann,Goerz ve Ica'dır. Bunlara sermaye olarak Carl Zeiss firması'da ortak olmuştur.Bu nedenle üretimi yapılan makinalarda doğal olarak Carl Zeiss lensleri kullanılmıştır.Ayrıca Stuttgart ve Berlinde'de fabrikaları vardır.Fotoğraf makinaları ve objektifler dışında tıbbi uygulamalar'da gerçekleştirmiştir.Zeiss Ikon 1972 yılında fotoğraf makinası üretimini durdurmuş fakat 2004 yılında yeni bir makinanın tanıtımı yapılmıştır.

Zeiss Ikon is a German company that was formed in 1926 by the merger of four camera makers. Contessa-Nettel , Ernemann,Goerz ,İca , and an infusion of capital by Zeiss. The company formed one part of the Carl Zeiss foundation another part being the optical company Carl Zeiss.Logically,most of the Zeiss Ikon cameras were equipped with Carl Zeiss lenses and the formerly independent companies, in particular Goerz had to shut down their own lens manufacture.Zeiss Ikon ceased the production of cameras in 1972.
