In the 1960s, color film was still considered a luxury item, so even a discount of one franc stood out as a significant incentive for customers.
A brief note on the companies mentioned on the coupon: Ferrania was founded in Italy in 1923, initially producing emulsions for cinema film. After World War II, it became one of Europe's leading brands in the production of color negative film, slide (dia) film, and motion picture film. 3M, an American-based company, was known for producing tapes, paper products, magnetic media, and photographic materials. In the 1960s, in order to strengthen its presence in the European market, 3M partnered with Ferrania, leading to the creation of the Ferrania 3M brand.
