Rudolf Metzner, Bodenbach an der Elbe’de (günümüz Çekya’sında Děčín) faaliyet gösteren ve fotoğraf ile sinema malzemeleri satan bir firmaydı. Zarf üzerindeki bilgiler incelendiğinde, alıcısının Zeiss Ikon A.G. firması olduğu görülmektedir. Bu durum, 1930’lu yıllarda Metzner’in Zeiss Ikon’un bayiliğini yaptığını veya doğrudan ürünlerini sattığını göstermektedir. Zeiss Ikon A.G., fotoğrafçılık ve optik cihazlar konusunda dünya çapında ün kazanmış köklü bir firmaydı. 1926 yılında Almanya’nın Dresden kentinde, dönemin dört büyük firması olan Ica AG, Contessa-Nettel, Ernemann ve Goerz’in birleşmesiyle kuruldu. This suggests that in the 1930s, Metzner was either a distributor for Zeiss Ikon or directly sold its products. Zeiss Ikon A.G. was a well-established company that gained worldwide fame in the field of photography and optical devices. It was founded in 1926 in Dresden, Germany, through the merger of four major companies of the time: Ica AG, Contessa-Nettel, Ernemann, and Goerz. Supported by the Carl Zeiss Foundation, the company quickly became one of the leading names in the optical world.Zeiss Ikon held a significant market share with its production of cameras, cinema cameras, and projection devices. In the 1930s, models such as Ikonta, Nettar, and Contax became some of the most popular cameras of the era. At the same time, its 16mm and 35mm cinema cameras and projection devices greatly contributed to the film industry. Zeiss Ikon played a crucial role not only in photography and cinema but also in the production of military and scientific binoculars and other optical systems.The Contax series, in particular, was manufactured at a quality level that could compete with Leica and made a significant impact in the photography world. Almanyadan Amerika Birleşik devletlerinde bulunan Eastman Kodak firmasına 1958 yılında hava postası gönderilmiş bir zarf . Eastman Kodak Company, 1888 yılında George Eastman tarafından Rochester, New York'ta kuruldu. Şirket, fotoğrafçılığı herkes için erişilebilir hale getirmeyi amaçlayan yenilikçi yaklaşımıyla kısa sürede büyük bir başarı elde etti. Eastman’ın “Siz düğmeye basın, gerisini biz hallederiz” sloganıyla piyasaya sürdüğü ilk Kodak kamerası, fotoğrafçılığı profesyonellerin tekelinden çıkararak amatör kullanıcılar için de ulaşılabilir kıldı. 20.yüzyılın başlarında Kodak, film üretimi konusunda dünya çapında lider bir firma haline geldi. 1935’te tanıttığı Kodachrome filmi, renkli fotoğrafçılığın gelişiminde önemli bir dönüm noktası oldu. During this period, the company offered a wide range of products for both amateur and professional photographers. Particularly in the 1960s, the Instamatic cameras introduced by Kodak were widely embraced due to their simple usability.
