C.P. Goerz firması 1886 yılında Carl Paul Goerz (1854-1923) tarafından kurulmuştur. Merkezi Berlin, Almanyadadır.İlk kurulduğu yıl matematiksel araçlar satmıştır. 1887 yılından itibaren fotoğraf makinaları ve lens üretimine başlamıştır. 1926 yılında bir kaç firma ile beraber Zeiss Ikon firmasına katılmıştır.Firmanın Viyana,Paris,Londra ve New York'ta ofisleri vardı. Bu posta kartı İstanbul'dan Paris ofisine gönderilmiştir.

C.P. Goerz was founded in 1886 by Carl Paul Goerz (1854-1923). Headquartered in Berlin, Germany, it sold mathematical instruments in its first year of operation. From 1887, it started to produce cameras and lenses. In 1926, it joined the Zeiss Ikon company together with a few other companies. The company had offices in Vienna, Paris, London and New York. This postcard was sent from Istanbul to the Paris office.
