O yıllarda bir devrim niteliğinde olan Viyana aşındırma yöntemini geliştirmiştir.Bundan üç yıl sonra Carl'ın kayınbiraderi Alexander Göschl (1848-1900) şirkete ortak olmuştur. 1877 yılında bir fotoğraf stüdyosu kiralayarak fotoğraf reprodüksiyonları üzerine'de çalışma yapmışlardır. İlerleyen yıllarda fotoğraf baskı teknikleri konusunda da ileri seviyede çalışmalar yapmışlardır.Şirket 1983 yılında kapanmıştır.

It was founded in 1870 by Carl Angerer (1838-1916), who was heavily involved in chemical zinc etching. He developed the Vienna etching method, which was revolutionary at the time. Three years later, Carl's brother-in-law, Alexander Göschl (1848-1900), became a partner in the company. In 1877, they leased a photography studio and started working on photo reproductions. Over the years, they also conducted advanced studies in photo printing techniques. The company closed its doors in 1983.
